I really enjoyed reading your postings. I am a 1099 L.O. and I have been searching for W-2 plus bonus. One link lead to another and here I am! I live in CA and was part of the front-page, county-wide story about real estate “Insiders on the outside” on January 10. I contributed my part to the story because of my unique postion.

I re-entered the lending industry in late 06 when World Svgs was completing their merger with Wachovia. I was squeezed out of that position right after losing a petition to recover funds in a class action law suit against the builder of my home for flooring replacement related to mold. My timing getting back into the mortgage industry was off, one could say.

I made the transition from DOC lending to DRE lending when I was hired by a Broker I met at the weekly Realtor Caravan, but it took a while to accomplish. Long story short, I lost my own home to foreclosure last December and today it is still difficult for my family.

During the transitionary period, I worked for an agency servicing a nationwide foreclosure hotline. That was the irony the newspaper found so intriguing.

Too bad you aren’t near my home. I think I would have enjoyed returning to W-2 income with a company being lead by well-informed professionals.

Keep up the excellent postings. 951-313-1984
